Otzar Vocabulary Exporter

Otzar Vocabulary Exporter is a Google Docs add-on for teachers. It helps export highlighted Hebrew vocabulary from the currently open Google Doc as JSON or CSV.
Teachers can use the exported vocabulary with the Otzar Vocabulary Import Assistant GPT and then import the cleaned vocabulary into Otzar vocabulary sets.

Otzar Vocabulary Exporter helps teachers turn highlighted vocabulary in Google Docs into structured vocabulary data.
Basic workflow:
1. Open a Google Doc.
2. Select the lesson section you want to export.
3. Run Otzar Vocabulary Exporter from the Google Docs Extensions menu.
4. Copy the JSON or CSV output.
5. Paste the output into Otzar Vocabulary Import Assistant GPT.
6. Copy the cleaned Otzar-ready JSON.
7. Paste it into the Otzar vocabulary importer.
The add-on does not automatically send document content to H5Project, Otzar, OpenAI, or any other external service. The teacher manually copies the export and chooses where to use it.
Privacy Policy
Data access
Otzar Vocabulary Exporter accesses only the Google Doc where the add-on is installed and used.
The add-on may read:
– selected text from the current Google Doc
– highlighted text inside the selected section
– highlight colors
– nearby paragraph or table-cell context
– the current document title
This access is used only to create the JSON or CSV export shown to the user.
Data storage
Otzar Vocabulary Exporter does not store document content on H5Project servers.
Otzar Vocabulary Exporter does not create user accounts.
Otzar Vocabulary Exporter does not maintain a database of exported vocabulary.
Data sharing
Otzar Vocabulary Exporter does not automatically send document content to H5Project, Otzar, OpenAI, ChatGPT, or any third-party service.
Users manually copy the exported JSON or CSV and choose where to paste it.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Otzar Vocabulary Exporter’s use of information received from Google Workspace APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Information received from Google Workspace APIs is used only to provide the functionality requested by the user.
Raw, derived, or aggregated Google Workspace user data is not used to develop, train, fine-tune, or improve generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
Google permissions
The add-on requests permission to access the current Google Doc and permission to display a dialog inside Google Docs.
These permissions are used to read highlighted vocabulary from the current document and show the export dialog.
Terms of Service
Otzar Vocabulary Exporter is provided as a teacher productivity tool for exporting highlighted vocabulary from Google Docs.
By using the add-on, you agree to use it only with Google Docs that you are allowed to access and process.
You are responsible for reviewing exported vocabulary before using it in Otzar, ChatGPT, or any other tool.
The add-on does not automatically submit document content to external services. Any copying, pasting, importing, or sharing of exported content is performed manually by the user.
The add-on is provided as is. We do not guarantee that every highlighted word or phrase will be detected perfectly.
Do not use the add-on to process content that you are not authorized to access, copy, or share.
Support
For support, first try these steps:
1. Refresh the Google Doc if the menu does not appear.
2. Make sure the vocabulary words are highlighted.
3. Select the lesson section before running the exporter.
4. Run Otzar Vocabulary Exporter from the Google Docs Extensions menu.
5. If no vocabulary is found, confirm that the selected text contains highlighted words.
